THE BLANK-DECK PROBLEM

A strong proposal should not take two days to assemble.

The expertise matters. Repeating the same research, organization and slide assembly does not.

THE MERVIN WORKFLOW

One URL starts a structured, specialist-led workflow.

Research is handed to strategy. Strategy shapes media. Media gives creative a real brief. Every output arrives with context.

CORE CAPABILITIES

A proposal workflow—not a slide shortcut.

01

Four-specialist workflow

Competitive intelligence, brand strategy, media planning and creative development work in sequence.

02

Conversational editing

Change a budget, competitor or target. Mervin identifies the affected proposal sections.

03

Presentation-ready output

The output follows a complete proposal narrative instead of returning a long AI answer.

04

One-click PPTX export

Export the finished proposal, continue editing and take it into the client meeting.

BUILT FOR PITCH WORK

For teams whose next brief is already waiting.

AGENCY / 01

Advertising agencies

Build higher-quality new-business drafts faster and give every team a consistent strategic method.

CONSULTANT / 02

Independent consultants

Deliver a complete proposal without staffing separate research, media and creative teams.

LEAN TEAM / 03

Lean marketing teams

Move from market understanding to an executable plan while wearing fewer hats at once.

THE DIFFERENCE

Strategy before slides.

Mervin begins with evidence and structure, then builds the presentation around the decisions that matter.

01

Manual proposal process

Blank page → deadline pressure

  • ·Starts from a blank page
  • ·Requires multiple specialists
  • ·Takes one to two working days
  • ·Revisions are handled manually
  • ·Quality varies by team member
02

Generic AI slide generator

Prompt → generic slides

  • ·Starts from a prompt
  • ·Limited market research
  • ·Weak strategic continuity
  • ·Produces generic slide content
  • ·Often cannot update dependencies

FAQ / THE PRACTICAL DETAILS

Before you put the next client URL in.

Specific answers about sources, revisions, export behavior and the role of professional judgment.

Still have a question? Book a demo
01What information does Mervin extract from a website?+

Mervin reads public pages to identify the offer, product structure, business model, target-market clues and brand language. Extracted facts remain separate from Mervin’s inferences and planning assumptions.

02Does Mervin research competitors in real time?+

When live research is enabled, Mervin searches current public sources and records the publisher, URL and retrieval date. If a source cannot be verified, the deck labels it as an assumption or ‘Insufficient public data’.

03Where do market benchmarks come from?+

Benchmarks must come from reviewable public or connected data sources. Mervin never invents a benchmark to fill a slide, and each figure keeps its market, currency and observation period.

04Can I review the research sources?+

Yes. Sources appear beside the relevant proposal section and can also be included in the exported deck. Facts, inferences and strategic assumptions use different labels.

05How does Mervin choose which competitors to analyze?+

It looks for companies serving a comparable audience, category or job-to-be-done, then explains why each alternative was included. You can replace or remove a competitor before finalizing the proposal.

06Can I change the budget after the proposal is generated?+

Yes. A budget change recalculates the media allocation, funnel split and dependent KPI slides while preserving unrelated research and positioning work.

07Will one change regenerate the entire proposal?+

No. The intent router identifies the request, maps its dependencies and reruns only affected specialists and proposal sections. A full regeneration happens only when you request it or the brief changes fundamentally.

08Can I edit the exported PowerPoint?+

Supported text elements are exported as editable PowerPoint text. Editable charts are shown as available only when the current export engine supports that chart type; this page does not treat flattened images as editable objects.

09Does Mervin replace a strategist or media planner?+

No. It completes the time-consuming research, organization, calculation and first-draft work. A marketer still reviews assumptions, makes judgment calls and owns the client recommendation.

10Can agencies use their own proposal structure?+

Agency-specific structures depend on the configuration available in the connected product workspace. The standard workflow shown here follows research, positioning, media and creative in sequence.

11How long does a proposal take?+

Timing depends on site size, research depth and source availability. The product shows live stage progress rather than promising a fixed completion time.

12Which languages are supported?+

The interface and generated output can be localized by the connected product configuration. Language availability should be confirmed for the workspace before a client deadline.

13Is client information stored?+

Storage and retention depend on the deployed product environment and workspace policy. Confirm the applicable data-processing and retention settings before entering confidential client information.

14Can I use Mervin for an existing client?+

Yes. Start with the client website, then add the current brief, budget, known competitors and existing strategy. Mervin can use those as constraints instead of starting from a blank proposal.
